Thanks! That was a fun theme. I wish the car had run better that weekend, but such is life. I think that award was new for 2022. It's sponsored by eBay Motors, hence the big prize money. We already spent it all on a nice Dr. Diff rear disc brake kit... no more brake fade for us!

This was actually our team's second Halloween Meets Gasoline award. We also won it in NOLA last year after throwing a wedding for our teammates Rob and Jen. They got to keep that prize money, though. Weddings are expensive, even when you do them at a Lemons race.

Partly for the that, and partly as a sort of lifetime achievement award for doing so much awesome/terrible stuff with our slant six-powered A-body over the years, Lemons also decided to give us the highest award of the season for 2022, the "Coppa di Bondo." Fast forward to 14:42:
