Those 2 races are on consecutive weekends. Just for S&G I looked up what it would take for me to go.
FL to MO=1150 mi
MO to MD = 1100 mi
MD to FL= 865 mi
Total 3115 miles ouch
I don't even know if I could have my car and truck ready that soon.

Yes they are consecutive Weekends.
I do not rally think that many would expect to go to both of them back to back,

It's more of a geographical consideration as well as the fact that we are piggy backing on existing Local / regional MoPar events that we have had some past turnout.. and tracks that will work with our current very small group. We really have no input on the schedule unless we decided to do our own events which has had declining attendance in the recent years so this is what we have this year, Not Ideal, but better than just giving up on the series in my opinion.

Yes, I understand and agree.
I just did a "what if" thing. It would be almost impossible for me to do both. I would have to be gone from home for almost 2 weeks, and have no one to take care of Peg for that long. I wanted to do Mokan for several years, but it never worked out. I don't know if I could even be ready that soon. Maybe M-D. I'll keep plugging away, and see what happens

Gary Brunner just called me. We have a slant six race and birthday party for Meril on Saturday June 24th at Knoxville dragway. The track would like a decent turnout (and it would be nice for Meril)

Wish I could make it but 6/24 will not work for me.

I realized it after I posted. I will contact Gary, and see if the date could be changed to sometime in July or Aug.
