My 63 VAliant: How do I turn the crankshaft by hand? very little room between the radiator and the crank pulley.

Use the fan blade to turn it, and be sure you have the belt and alternator installed. Hand tension the belt more if it slips.

Works great unless you have a declutching fan, which should not be an issue with your car.

Manual?
You can put it in gear, and pull or bump the car and it will turn.
Plugs out and it turns eay.
