FYI, I surrendered my CA legacy ('60s style) plates today, so "225 SL6" should be available again in CA.

Cool! What is your new plate? Are you driving your 67 fairly often?

That's a really cool plate! My '62 Lancer had an aluminum engine, as you can see from the licence plate shown here.

Its original California black plate was AXT-253.

Nice one, Dan.

Reed, that is very clever and I like it.

My personalized Slant plates are as follows:
68 Dart - "SLANTED"
34 Coupe - "6 ASKEW"
62 Valiant - "TILTED 6"

Lou

Nice one Dan!

My new plate is:

6T7 DRT

in the black and yellow, like the old one.

We can't mix numbers and letters here. On cars letters have to be before numbers, on trucks it's reverse of that.

This only relevant because I was driving my Slant Six Dart, with the top down north on I-95 when one of those Nissan Cube toaster things slowly inched by me in the passing lane. It was sporting a Maine plate: " DORK". I had a smile on my face for the next ten miles.
