Took the Colt out last night to see what I could do since the changes over the last couple of months.

First run with the clutch tamer installed was a 8.241 @ 87.2
Had more in it, but I was lifting off the gas on shifts, I know not to do that.
Launched straight so I guess the shock adjustment and tire pressure changes helped.

Second run I guess the tamer didn't like me leaving with the pedal in a different place.
Huge bog and sputter, but ran good MPH and I ran down some roundy low Nissian thing.
Maybe he missed a gear.

So I need a clutch pedal stop.
I need a camera mount in the car, my video crew couldn't come.
Might want to install a 4 barrel carb.
Or maybe mechanical fuel injection.

Rob that would be great.
But needs to be August or October, we will be gone all of September.

I hope your Challenger Flys for you at the races!

You've got 3 mph on me at the 1/8th mile Stan. You're getting there. :D :D

Yep, Time to rip out the transmission and sell it to me. :D :D

Yes, you have @ 3mph on me too. Zilla and I are running almost identical times. 8.00 @ 83-84 mph. 12.70 in the 1/4. If you ever get it to launch you should be running 12.50's maybe faster!

What rpm do you launch at with the tamer?

Do you only get 2 runs a night? I am kind of spoiled I guess. On test and tune nights you can usually get in 4-5 runs plus a free gamblers race if you want.

After it bogged I just loaded it up.
I have to get rid of that.
4500 right now, but with a 2 step I will experiment with different rpm.
