I raised my 2 step to 4200 yesterday. Shift light at 6700. I will probably drop it back to 6600. I could feel it nose over just as the shift light came on.

Mind splaining your two step control to me?

And cool you could feel it nose over, I can't feel nothing.

2 step is the rev limiter on the trans brake. It's activated when I have the brake button pushed, and when the engine reaches the set rpm it starts cutting cylinders until I release the button. I have a 5000ish stall and chipping the 2 step lower lets it hit the converter harder. It's just like dumping the clutch on a stick. :D

Sorry, should have been more specific.
How is it electrically installed?
My 6AL does not seem to have that function, only one built in Rev Limit that I can see.

Yep, not on 6AL. Need a fancier deeevice. Might be called "Launch control" and be a separate add on item, and is part of some boxes.

Mine is an add on module. They sell 2 and 3 step modules. 3 step has a chip for burnout limit you hook to the line lock.

All of that 2/3/step including a delay box if I wanted to use it, are included in MegaSquirt 3 and probably even more capability in newer versions of Megasquairt as well.

Stan already has a 2 step. Step on the clutch with left foot. Until you step on the gas with Right foot. :D :D If I ever put all those gizmos and doodads on my car, I probably would get so confused I'd take off in reverse. :D :D

All my bruises have healed from all the internet shots I have been taking.
Back from a Southwest trip with friends.
I almost have finished all my shop interior walls and I will start moving all my junk out to the new shop.

Unloaded the Colt from the trailer where it has been sitting since August.
Going to a Test and Tune tomorrow.
Adjusted valves, and looked the suspension over good.
I had one Heim Joint jam nut loose on passenger side.
Drivers side rear Koni is leaking a little oil, that is bothersome as Will said they don't rebuild these anymore.
Measured tire diameters with the different air pressures to see what they were at.
Hoosier said they were 96 inches, I measured 93 and 93.5 inches.
Trying to see if I can get the right hook out on launch.
I don't remember back in August if it left straight.
It did not stick in my mind, so maybe it went straight and it was a non event.
I will try and watch for it tomorrow.
I will have a friend there tomorrow if Deb doesn't go.
Installed a firewall clutch stop to get the clutch tamer to work consistently.

Still won't 60 foot.
First pass seemed strong, data did not support my butt meter.
Second run, changed the tamer setting, bog, but same 60 foot.
Solid in the mid 8's but not faster.
More questions than answers.

Sounds like at least it went back on the trailer under it's own power. That's a big win.
