They have always had fuel available, but always good to check. They have a shed near the gate/entry.

As said earlier in the thread, this will be my first time to slant six races and actually first time on a drag strip (other than one unsuccessful attempt about 25 years ago), and am looking forward to it. I really haven't participated much here on the forum, but think I might have finally figured out how to get a couple pics resized small enough to upload...thought I'd try a little introduction since it seems much of the group knows each other already.

I'll be driving my '76 Scamp down from near Elizabethtown, KY. It's been a work-in-progress since I got it about 3 years ago. I got it from a small used car dealer in Michigan and currently has about 65K miles. First winter I just did a new vinyl top, new seat covers, radio, etc.... Second winter was suspension rebuild, disc brake upgrade, rear diff upgrade, etc.... Last winter was adding a sniper efi, torqstorm supercharger, and a lot of engine bay work. Bottom end internals were left completely alone. It's running/driving great, though I know there is more power to be had with some timing improvements, cam and head upgrades, etc... Regardless, I'm having a great time working on it, learning a lot, and look forward to meeting y'all.

Hopefully the pic attachments work....

Looks like a cool car! Nice work. It sounds like you are in for a fun weekend. You'll get to meet some really great people. I hope you all have a great time. Someone laugh at Rick a few times for me. I'm sure he'll do something worthy of a good laugh.

Small world! My place is actually in Rineyville, so even closer to Radcliff. I actually used a tuner shop in Cox's Creek a couple months ago to help improve the fueling on my sniper.

Thanks!

Very nice car, Rich. I look forward to hanging out and chatting, AND having another torqstorm Slant on the track. I will be bringing my 68 Dart (with MS1-EFI).

See you soon!
Lou

Sorry guys but as usual I'm out. Peg is giving me so much crap about going into rehab, it's not worth the grief. Just about all loaded up, and went to take her to rehab, and got such a rash of crap.

Very cool! I'll be in Rineyville to pick up a load of hay soon. Have a great time at the Knoxville race. Let's plan to get together sometime soon!

Sounds great - I'd definitely like to talk about your MS EFI as I could see that as a future upgrade on mine - The sniper works fine for now but long term I'm thinking something with more control will be better.

Very sorry to hear you cannot make it, Charlie. We will all miss you. Let me know when you might want to come up to my place. I am pretty flexible.

Look forward to talking Slants, EFI, boost with you, Rich.

I think I should just give up trying. Always something. This time I thought I had everything arranged. Racecar seemed OK, truck and trailer ready. Arrangements made for Pegs care, and she refuses to go to the assisted living facility.
