This is going to be a no-go. That
one-year-only Stromberg Model W is a very good carburetor design, but it was only produced in a configuration for a cable-type throttle control. As you can read at the link, there were versions planned for the rotating-rod setup, but they were not put into production. Years ago there was a Holley linkage adapter piece which would attach to the cable-type throttle lever and allow the rod to hook up, but that piece (if you can even find one any more) will not fit on the Stromberg carb. Your options here are to convert to a cable-type setup (needs an appropriate accelerator pedal, throttle cable, bracket, and—if your car has automatic transmission—complete kickdown linkage) or use a carburetor configured for the rod-type accelerator.
