Hi all
Looking for some advise on jet sizing etc for a QFT 650DP for torqstorm sc. Build is 40 over, stock cam, ported and polished head with standard valves, aussiespeed intake and headers. 904 auto and 3.23 rear end. Any advice would be much appreciated cheers.

I am not sure if there is a matrix for such a thing.

Install an O2 sensor and let the data you see on the gauge inform your jetting decisions.

I am no boooost expert, but I would question the stock Cam and stock sized valves. It seems that you will be giving up a lot of potential performance gains with that hairdryer on such a small cam and valves.

Hopefully some other boost guys will chime in here,
Lou, Ryan Peterson, Charrlie S. Many of the turbo and supercharger guys now run some sort of fuel injection instead of blow thru carbs.

Best of luck,

Greg

Thanks Greg, appreciated. I have an O2 sensor, just have to put it all back together.

Yes, No problem.

As long as you are good at interpreting the (real time) data from your O2 gauge whilst driving, you should be able to get the carb dialed in the way you like.

Maybe piggyback a Dataloger onto your O2 Sensor somehow to get a detailed and reviewable sens or what's going on or even a poor person's datalogger - video your gauge while you are driving to further inform your decisions with the ability to review the driving conditions / engine load and O2 data on the video screen.

Greg
