On both carbs, the same number? If so, that's good. The 6260 is a '72 Dodge Truck carburetor, factory-jetted richer than '72 passenger car carbs (though I doubt the 65 jet was original equipment). The recommendation for a 56 is a good start, and you may still find yourself dropping further down from there.
