Locker makes a universal "kickdown" kit that you can use. Some bracket "re-arranging" work will be needed to mount it up on the 2 bbl carb.

If you are very crafty, you could make your own. I spent some time a few weeks back drawing up a good pattern which is almost complete. I will personally assist you if you want to try and finish it.

If you'd like to pay me to make one for you, I'd be willing to do it for less than the lokar piece. Usually someone offers a factory item for sale, but I guess no one has one handy.

Here is the cheapest lokar style cable I found.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBay ... 35560&rd=1

With shipping it's $46. You'd still need to fabricate a bracket for your throttle cable

Offer to pay $40 plus shipping in the parts wanted section and someone will get off their butt and pull the stuff you need off their parts car. It would be much simpler.

I will be making a kit, but it's not ready, and making each one custom until then isn't fun or profitable.

I spent about and hour and a half at home depot trying to find good stuff to keep fab time down and welding to a minimum.

My head was spinning by the time I was done. :( It can be really tough to go from my head into an actual working part.

The good news is that I found everything I need and have worked out a very specific design with no loose ends. It will almost look like stock equipment.

I had to buy a couple pieces of 3ft steel tube stock, when I only actually needed a few inches of each size, but hopefully I'll sell a few of these kickdowns and make the investment back.

I hope to have a working item completed by Monday. No, Really
