I have head work, bored, cam, four barrel carb, headers, nitrous (100shot) for the most part. What type of coil should I run?

I've heard a few bad stories about accel coils on here and moparts.

I run an msd blaster2 and am happy with it.

I've been running the same Accel Superstock coil since the late 80's or so.

I run pertronix points replacement kit with the flame thrower coil (45K volts), but I think electronic ignition is better performance (and more $$$).

would you see any noticable performance gains by switching to a Mopar performance orange box and high performance coil. Could everything else be left stock. I am looking for more passing power.

Jeb, if you mean going from stock points to an MP orange box yes you will notice some improvment.

But if you mean going from stock EI to an MP orange box, then no. The only difference amongst all the stock replacment EI boxes is max rpm they support.
