2 2806830 - engine block, RG-series 225 198, 1968-1970 casting

I used a online MOPAR decoder to obtain this information. What I need to know is some basic Info, IE: Forged/Cast, and what else would be useful when I order a bottom end kit. Additionally, WHERE do I get a crank with matching bearings from? :? Somebody mentioned NAPA?! Their site doesn't even list that they have cranks for the 225, little own with bearings. If somebody has a link or information that would be GREAT!

The Great teardown is getting close at hand and I want to make sure I have all compatible parts when I get going, since time will be at issue. :)

Your block could be either 198/225 depending on the crnak and rods installed (look at the 'shelf' above the #1 piston for a stamp 198 or 225).
Any Pre-75 will be 'forged' crank, you'll want a 1968-1975 unit.

You call up Napa since the price changes, and ask for a 'Crank Kit' for a 225 slant six, and it has the crank (ask what the grind is .010/.010) and it should come with your main and rod bearings...usually costs about $250 for a 'good kit'....
