Test and Tune tonight at Xtreme Raceway Park.
First run leaving on the 2 Step at 5K, Colt had a dead hook right.
Almost took out the 60 foot light.
My video girl didn't like that.
Ran a 8.05 with a 1.7 60 foot time.
Both are the best we have run.

Second run, left in second gear, cockpit error.

Third run broke the trans going into second gear.

Wow Stan!

That is unfortunate. If you did not have bad luck, you would have no luck at all!
I wonder what would cause the transmission to break?

Greg

Here is the video.
Oh so close to that 7.
That right turn killed my chance on that run.

Doubtful.

You are running an A833 that lived behind More Skookum engines than the Hottest of hott Slant 6's.

If you broke an A903 I could see that.

I wonder what happened to the trans? Gears, counter shaft or case issues?

That is quite a turn.

I never had anything happen like that to me on my cars. I am guessing some preload and shock work is in order?

I do not know on that, as I was lucky with everything.

Hate to be a nattering nabob of negativity, but that car isn't working until you figure out how to get front end travel in it. Then, you can make adjustments work on the back.

Congrats on the new best! That's about dead even with my car, and I know you got some left yet.

I hear you, I hear you.
I can fix the front suspension, but I think I can fix the rear.
I think I need to move the ladder bars, it never went that right before, but it never left that hard either.

Congrats on the ET improvement! What is your MPH? Had bfst with Seymour on Saturday and we were chatting about your car. Getting there! Yeah, jerky launch looks/sounds scary. Charles Myers had that with his Arrow a few times. Darn little old drag cars.

Cheers,
Lou

Glad you got to see him Lou, he was going to come to Texas to see me run, but you were more important.

I will get it corrected.

It ran 86 mph on the good run.
