Found this in the first box of bearings that i opened. Got it from a speed shop in Michigan. Reached out, hope to hear back soon.

Some of the bigger bumps are taller than 2thou. This on both sides of this shell half.

Should i try to hone them or try to send them back? Found another but not as bad as this one.

That could be delamination of the bearing surface material from the steel shell. I would not run it, and I run a lot of junky stuff... Not worth your time to take the engine back apart when the rest of the surface could peel off, IMHO. Bearings are pretty cheap on Ebay or from Rockauto. The seller should replace it, if they are a serious person.

I had a set like that a few years ago. Still have them somewhere, didn't use them. As I remember they were "TRW" brand, and just a couple (not the whole set) look like that. I put up a similar post and pic as you have, at the time here.

Yes these are trw. Actually 2 sets of shells like this in the box.
