Conspirousy theries are out there. One person on you tube is saying the tracks are being bought with future plns to convert the land to "data centers", or "fullfillment centers".

Oooo. That would be very smart of those AI and cybercurrency peddlers. Infiltrate IHRA and buy them for land. I would not be surprised at all.

I've seen that also. Another facet of the rumor is that Elon Musk is also financing these deals.

I am skeptical. Data centers need power and water, and most of these places are limited in that respect.

If you dig into the business end of these deals none of the tracks have technically been bought by the IHRA. All have been obtained by different holding companies, and some were bought for "0" dollars.

It's great to see old tracks that have deteriorated being brought back to life. I just hope that the racers and fans show up to support the IHRA. In the past this has not been the case. Fingers crossed.

When we get the Dart sorted out I will be getting an IHRA number to run some 10.90 class.

It is a twisted state of affairs that we racers have to worry about mega computer and IT media companies coming for racetracks.

It is bizarre in my opinion. like a bakery worring figure skaters coming to buy their shop to put an ice rink in it or something

Not sure I follow? I assume you mean professional races? I get that but how many professional races do they have a year? Seems like the more races (Bracket races) you have the more money the track would make. I may be totally wrong for sure, and I probably am.
