Can anyone tell me if the transmisison crossmember from a 66 Valiant will fit in a 72 Satellite? Thanks!

I dont think so Reed,but if you need one and cant find it locally ,I have one(just have to find it :? :? )that you can have for the shipping costs.

I would think that you're looking for something like a 'B' body only cross member from a '68-74, or maybe 71-74 B-body. There are no references to what interchanges in crossmembers. Somewhere I have a couple of 'C' body A-727 crossmembers, but I'm not sure if they even would fit.

My engine swap book lists the mopar xmembers and kmember PNs
xmembers
late 71 and all 72 B and E body shows 3583188 (same for auto or 4 sp)

FYI kmembers
shows 3583070 for 6 cyl 71 and 72 B body
shows 3583070 also for 6 cyl 71 and 72 E body
