I'm looking for opinions about the factory metal shields behind the rotors.
It looks like the rotor would cool better without them.
Who runs them and who leaves them off?

I have them on my '68 Dart daily driver, but not on my '64 Dart part-time driver and '66 Valiant racer.

You coming down to CMP this weekend? All day Sat and Sun. Tom Drake will be stopping by Sat too.

Those shields are "splash" shields. They are to keep water off the rotors.

I don't use them, and I haven't had problems...BUT, it's possible the brakes work better in rain/snow with them.
