I'm looking for some parts for my '62 A-745 3spd. I'm rebuilding my first truck and found that it still has it's original '62 tranny! I want to keep it original as much as I can so I just want to try replace the chewed up gears. I need the 1st/R Slide gear and the bottom cluster. If anybody has any tips or secrets where these illusive parts could be...... drop me a line!

If it is the same as a 65 3 speed, I will have one fairly soon (pulling a later model slant 6 with original 3 speed out for a 65 slant 6 and 833

yes, it is the one that was actually used from 62 up to 70. I think I think I may be getting the parts I need by next week, but I'll keep you posted.

Did you get the parts you needed?
I am thinking my 745 is in need of a few parts too!
