Where can you buy a intake for the webers?(3/ 45 doce's) I tried Clifford and got a responce I wasn't sure if they still had them or not. Tried to sell a fuel injection set up to me instead of telling me a price and if they still had them. If I wanted to run fuel injection I be racing a new Hemi. Any leads would be of great help.
thanks
Al

About 10- 15 years ago I bought 1 from Steve Lukehurst in australia. It cost about $90 US then and the only problem was the currency exchange. Google for down under suppliers and you should be able to find one. Funny thing, I sold mine to a street racer from NY NY, Tony and I never heard how he did with it.

He had that same setup listed a couple of weeks ago. Did not meet reserve. I e-mailed him, about what kind of carbs, and what brand of manifold, but did not get a reply.

Just fyi, if you are dealing with the Aussie's pay the extra freight for quicker service-- US mail. i shipped a dash to there it took 5 months, but did make it, postal service is the most economical way to go but do not get in a hurry if you don't pay the extra.

A sidebar suggestion for those who seek a solution to currency exchange with Oz.

I bought some Ozzie slant parts a couple years ago. The first time I used Western Union: a TOTAL nightmare. I will never do THAT again. Flakey, buggy website and ignorant phone operators with VERY marginal Engish language skills (obvious offshore outsourcing). Though everything worked out in the end, it was VERY time consuming and they charged a hefty currency conversion fee.

Subsequent payments were made through the Ozzie outfit (somewhat similar to PayPal) which is called PayMate. That worked great. A FAR more satisfactory experience.

Hiya folks, don't get on here that often but was taken aback by this thread. As the proprietor of "Pentastar Parts & Restorations", I feel a short repy to this quote must be added. These items were indeed sent as requested, the tracking number provided was correct but it seems can only be tracked within Oz. I don't know why, but as advised at first point of purchase Australia Post could not provide any insurance for these items... has anyone else had any experience with sending items to Germany ?

In closing, this is an unfortuante incident and we send a copious amount of goods offshore to Chrysler enthusiasts with no such trouble. Duster72, please contact me @ sales@pentastarparts.com.au so we can discuss this matter further.

kind regards,

Ray
