Who has them and in what stall range. I have moderatly built /6 with a lock up 727(84 Dodge truck). I was wanting to go with around 1500-2000 RPM. I will be running 3.55 or 3.90 gears.

A 727 lock-up tranny behind a slant 6????????????/

I don't think they ever made such a beast. Better verify if you perhaps have a A904 or A904T instead. I don't think you want to special order a converter only to find it does not fit.

I have heard about a lockup 727 before, but never seen one.

I've seen a few of them. Trucks and vans had them after '78.

This is a transmission question? Somebody should move it.

I have a 727 behind my slant six in an 85 truck, but I don't know if it's a lock-up converter. I didn't think it was, but never thought about it?

Its a lock up 727. I just rebuilt it. I don't know why my truck has one, it only has a an 8 1/4 rear end. stock stall is pretty low. It seems to make no power until about 3000 rpm. A 3000 rpm stall speed on the street would be a bit too high.
