As big an improvement as the KYB's are, you will get even more improvement , and improved handling from the new Edelbrock shocks. I have them on the front of my '69 Dart, and they took a car with bone jarring suspension and made it feel tolerable. My '69 has heavy duty torsion bars, solid aluminum lower control arm strut bushing, plus it has the tubular upper control arms with heim joints instead of bushings. This guy was brutal until I put the Edelbrock shocks on it. It actually got quite civilized, and handles better to boot. I can;t remember what they call them, but they have a valving that shifts from soft to hard, depending on the road surface. Look them up on their web site, and you will see what they are. These shocks are perhaps a bit more expensive than the KYB, but worth the difference.
