Since I got a lot of my motor stolen, a part from my new exhaust to muffler gaskets fell down in the tube, so everytime engine gets to normal temp, remaining gasket pieces starts to smell burning (yes again that smell).

My father tells me to leave them, but I think I need to get them out, what do you think?

If the system is mostly fresh, then it might not be that difficult to take it apart and clean it out. I wouldn't say it must be done, but it sure would be nice to not stink out your neighborhood.

If it's like my new exhaust and welded front to back, then you may just try fishing with a coat hanger. :?
