Mayber rubber isn't the right name, and it's probably some sort of 2-part urethane with catalyst. Regardless, I need to cast a few small "rubber" parts. Anyone know much about this?

2-part urethane. That's how Gary Goers got started. This book goes into very fine detail on how to do it right.

not sure if this is what you are looking for, but ....

in my slot car racing days, I used to cast part from resin by a company call alumilite. I used 2 part liquid latex to make a rubber mold. then mixed the 2 part resin and pour in mols to make part...resin harden in 3 minutes..

since I have a hard time getting front turn signal lense for my 73 dart, I decided to try duplicating from my good original lense with this stuff.

here is a web site of the product....Jerry

Thanks for replies. Great stuff found on the Alumilite web site. Think that will serve my purpose. If so, I'll show you what I am working on.
