Not me. I get kids wanting me to sell them blue "super white" headlights and other stuff; I give them ONE chance to smarten up (and I give them the resources to do it). If they go "Yeah, but they're KEWL!", I shred 'em. They usually respond by saying "I'm gonna tell all my friends never to buy stuff from you!"

I tell them "Please do." It frees-up my time and telephone line to deal with non-idiots.
Naw, your English is great! I was making a dumb joke. You said you can't easily get parts from Clifford the same year you order them. I was adding to that by saying you sometimes have problems getting parts from Clifford within TEN years of ordering them. Exaggeration and sarcasm, that's all.

Even when Jack Clifford was running a much tighter ship over at Clifford, I had a problem with them. They like to oversell. People who call in just wanting a little more snap and driveability get sold a too-big 4bbl carb and intake, a set of headers, a too-big cam, etc.
Some of them are!

I know there are exceptions to every rule, but most people that sit and take orders, try to sound very nice and helpful, until they get your money...

Yeah, Awesome at B.S.! Did you Actually get your Parts?

All i have to say is Clifford is awesome! I just finished building up my 225 that is in a 1964 Dodge Dart and they were there for me the whole way. I spent over 4k but it was all quality parts. Thats my 2 cents : )

So, the concensus is you *might* get the right parts, they *might* be properly made, they *might* arrive promptly, and if there's a problem, Clifford *might* work to resolve it.

Yippee.

The Lil Car got her body work done and new front tires. Rear tires and shocks are coming and I found a windshield wiper motor on ebay along with new parking light lenses. I also bought her a car cover. I should be driving her to work very soon. Hope my truck doesn't get jealous
