My understanding a super 6 is nothing but a stock 225 with a 2 barrel carb.
My main question is this, what do you have to do to a 225 for a late 60's early 70's A body to make it do the 1/4 in the 15's???
P.S. no gears higher the 355 this should also be a driver.

Some of my thoughts are====
electronic ignition
headers
slight cam
hi perf intake and 2barrel or 4 barrel.

A Super Six is just a 2 barrel Slant with an extra 10 "Advertising HP" or maybe 5 real horsepower.

I have 3000 lb SL6 car with 3.55 gears and a bone stock, 100K mile engine, with a 1 BBL carb. I put a 60 HP Nitrous kit on it and it runs 15.80s.

to get a 3100lb a body into the 15's in a street car (daily driver) I most recently used a 460 lift racer brown cam, 600 edlebrock carb on an offy 4brl intake,chrysler electronic ignition, set of long headers from clifford, ported head with bigger valves. I also ran an 8 3/4 posi rear with a 4:30 ring and pinion. Now I had a 4speed with overdrive so it was driveable daily (8000 miles last year) but with a 3 speed auto that would definately be to steep for the street. When selecting a cam I would stay away from mopar performance cams. I personally had bad luck with 2 of the 528 lift 284 duration cams. they would shear the oil pump and cam gear off. the racer brown cam seemed to hold up alot better(personal opinion). but that is the combination I used to get into the 15's and that was on a car that was never seriously tuned and on 225 series street tires(no traction). so with some traction and tuning I think mid 15's on your street car would be do-able. good luck, and keep us posted.

The naws system I am using is a "mix & match" set-up.
I used a couple of NOS Fogger nozzles, some Nitrous Works soliniods and a single NOS only nozzle from who know where. I did have to order some fittings, hard line and a fuel pressure regulator

I drilled some holes into the manifold, screwed in the nozzles and did a few test sprays with the manifold off the car to check distribution.

The fuel side runs off the stock pump and through a cheap Holley pressure regulator set at 4 psi, at full flow. (I tested this with a Holley #72 carb jet clamped into the end of some fuel hose, then start the engine, rev it up, hit the button and spray the fuel into a can while watching the fuel pressure gauge)

I am amazed how well this system is working, distribution looks real good and the car "picks-up" a lot when you hit the button.

At the risk of sounding like a kiss-up... Doug, you're so frickin' cool!

Can you come to Texas and work on my cars? :)

Dennis Weaver has a 15 second slant car. And it is for sale too. It has a 4-barrel carb, cam (not sure what type), headers, and a higher stall torque convertor.
