Hi -

Is it possible to bolt on an early Holley 1 bbl carb (without all the vacuum hoses) on a early 80's Slant 6 manifold (which had the later Holley 1 bbl with all the vacuum hoses.

Our carb is sucking gas like crazy and anyway - we would also like a cleaner look under the hood (the engine is in a rat rod).

Thanks!

Glen

The only thing you need to watch out for is that the early carbs require a manifold with a separate 9/32" hole next to the throttle bore, for the PCV. Some of the later manifolds don't have this hole. If yours does, then go right ahead.

Thanks for the tip! I will check the manifold out and see what to do from there.

Cheers,
