Don't worry about ol Doug.

Take a good look around and you'll see that Doug is one of the most noted slant sixers in the country.

He produces the fabulous Dutra Duals and is responsible for the reproduction hyperpack intake manifolds. (now produced and sold by clifford)

Doug wouldn't risk messing someones project up for $40. I'm sure he's being generous with the price. I'd pay $40 just to meet Doug.

By 'well used' I'm sure he means 'not new, but good to go'.

Good used head is a better term.
This is a head off a used engine that was running but worn. (100K miles)
A "good rebuildable core" in my view.

If you want a used head with low miles on it, I may have one of those for a few more bucks.
