I have no problem finding many manufactures of stainless steel brake lines, but what about the hoses. Anyone know of a good manuf who sells stainless steel braided hoses for my 73 Scamp?

USually the same places that reproduce the hardliens do the steen liens too. I can't remember where I bought mine from, either inline tube or classic tube? I may have the reciept at home still.

Ask for pictures or clarify what fittings they use, because I had a problem with mine and the rear axle fitting they gave me. They aren't going to be cheap - I think mine was $40 or $50 each hose.

Look into Goodridge hoses. They are very good quality and not too expensive. Bill Reilly (bigblockdart.com) was selling a front hose kit for about $50 with both sides included.

H'm. Custom made? I don't find any A-bodies in Goodridge's application charts.

Order them by length from a Goodridge dealer. I use Oil Filter Service Co here in Portland OR. They carry Goodridge hoses and they can custom make hoses. I used to use SST hoses but I've recently switched to custom built rubber hoses. OFSCO makes them while I wait and they test them to 3000 psi so they are DOT legal.

OFSCO has all adapters needed for use on an A-body also.
