The 7 1/4 rear had a sure grip option from the factory. There is no aftermarket unit as far as I know. The only way to get one is to keep checking the "Mopar" buy/sell/swap ads, E-bay, and salvage yards. They are few and far between, but do show up once in awhile. The last one I got, took 2 years of looking.
PS: they came in the clutch type and also the cone type, just like the other mopar suregrips.

7 1/4" Sure Grips are Very Rare - Only in early a bodies - is where I have enclontered them. Late 60's and on no sure grip 7 1/4"s were produced - you had the order the 8 1/4" or 8 3/4"

That is the best of my knowledge

Greg

Beg to differ, Greg. I have a 7 1/4 sure grip on the shelf, that came out of a 76 duster. I am not sure of the years, but the early units were the clutch type, and the later units were the cone type. They changed just about the same time as the 8 3/4 units changed.

PS: I have a 3.91 SG 7 1/4 rear, a 5.13 SG 7 1/4 rear. Both are clutch type. Have a cone type on the shelf, along with a clutch rebuild kit. There are some out there, but you have to keep looking.
