I finally got around to making a dolly so I wouldn't have to keep tripping over the slant that I have sitting out in the shop.

Looks pretty darn good. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the other side engine mount, would you? I'm curious to see what you did for having to wrap over the oil pan rail.

I built a three-wheel one awhile back, and used engine brackets for mine. It's kinda rough and hacked together, but it does work.

I'll take a picture of the other side. It has to be two pieces so you can lower the engine into it straight down so it is a little more complicated.

Walter - I haven't really considered making more of them. I suppose if I did they would cost the same as the other motor dollies that I make. If I did make these as a product I would change the design so that the rear brace bolts to the back of the engine rather than the tranny. Most people would prefer to just move an engine around.

I snapped a picture of the other side. This picture also shows the low mount alternator kit that I just designed. It uses the popular 10si alternator which comes in a variety of amp ratings. I think this one is a 60 amp version.
