Dang it, I'd like to be. Just not sure I'm up for the 11hr drive this weekend. When are you guys gonna be there (get there/leaving)?
Can't afford to pull the Valiant in the Van ($300 gas) and need to replace 64 Dart head gasket. Cheapy one is burping water into #6 again. We'll see...

Lou

Lou, I will be rolling in early Saturday morning. Seymour will probably do the same I would guess. Hope you can get something together, but I understand about the 11 hour drive.

Tom, have fun yourself! Sounds like a neat deal. :D

I'll be calling Jim Cox today to check his plans. Jim and Mike will be together and I think they are both bringing a car.

My Aspen is finally running strong. It should make the drive and run faster than ever. Still doing lots of last minute wrenching and just put a rebuilt head on the truck today. Time to start packing.

I'd love to get there friday night for a test and tune. Is there one? Don't know what will happen, but hope to see you all there.

Cox's are racing Faith's black '75 Dart, a street car. Still working on getting a racecar together.

Glad to hear that Paul and others are going. I am probably out. Just not up for an 11hr drive each way right now. The Road Goblin (64) is running, but haven't had much "burn in" time...

Lou

We had a decent turnout for this late in the year. Racers there were:
1. Seymour Pederson with his blue '62 running 11:80's
2. Howard and Jason Davis with their Dart Sport running 11:70's
3. Paul from Pittsburgh with his Volare, didn't see what he ran
4. Charles Meyers and his Arrow with a real trick intake, new motor bugs for him
5. Mike Evans from Iowa with his Aspen, I think he made it into the 15's
6. Jim Cox had Faith's Dart, front-end woes kept him out
7. Myself-Torched a piston on the 1st time run in S/Pro.

We left before the Slant race began, so I don't know who won.

Sad I couldn't make it, but really glad I didn't go. I was gettin' on it this afternoon (64 Dart) and my freshly fixed head gasket did not hold back the water from entering #6 cyl. Must have a warped head so off it comes again.
