Maximum Boost by Corky Bell read it three times before starting.

There are others out there but they seem to be dated.

This is a good website - http://www.gtiroc.com/new/articles/r_ar ... ntals1.htm to start at.

The simple way would be to go with a centrifical supercharge like Dales. Easier to install and you do not have to fabricate a complete exhuast. A Paxton or Vortex will make 20+ lbs of boost. Older units like Dales are limited but you can already see they give you geat bang for your buck. They can not be made as efficient as a turbo but they are better than a roots type(ie Eaton). Take a car like Rons with a CS putting out 8# of boost and wwwhhhhhheeeeee!

Oh yeah! Seeing that thing and the Simca zipping down the track side by side would definitely be cool. I really like vehicles that don't follow the norm.

There are so many Camaros and Mustangs everywhere that they really lose my interest. Even the Cudas, Challengers, Darts and Dusters to some extent have the same effect (but not nearly as much so! :D ).

I really like the "Dare to be Different" thing and Nostalgia stuff is definitely cool!

7 of the 10 runs from TNT.

Run 1 - 6.387 @ 106.5
Run 2 - 6.296 @ 106.8
Run 3 - 6.378 @ 106.7
Run 4 - 6.327 @ 107.0
Run 5 - 6.295 @ 107.0
Run 6 - 6.340 @ 106.7
Run 7 - 6.257 @ 107.6

Each run represents a change to the program. Some runs are back to the baseline to prove the changed worked and was not the air. Some changes worked and some did not.....the last three runs are top secret. :D

Let's just say there is more potential in the current package that need not be revealed at this time. :D

Good stuff Tom!

It would appear that you have a pretty comfortable position as "The Leader of the Pack". And consistently too! That's a very nice added bonus in bracket racing.

Maybe Charles Myers or some of the other Big Guns will take it up a notch or two and give you a run for your money.

Possum's Rampage/Studebaker should be a handful when it's done as well.

Hi,
The ET in the 1/8 on the 9.85 run at Bristol was 6.278...if I remember correctly. I will dig up the time slip to double check it.

Once you click the above link then you can then click on the white block thta has "Simca run video" in it. Or you can right click and save it to your computer. It is the last picture in the simca's section.

The video is awesome, Tom! Good to see your win light come on! Looked like a pretty good storm brewing past the finish line also!

There are a few spots in the video that you can freeze and they would make some pretty awesome pictures. Lots of what I always called trace lighting.

Nice run!!!! You need to make me a motor like that. :D :D :D :D :D
Also, do you run straight out of the headers or do you run with your exhaust system on? I am guessing out of the headers but am just asking because that motor sounds awesome!!!!!!
