PTC should work well.

I just bought a Midwest Converter for Project V and I told them my engine specs and 2800-3000 stall. It stalls dead on. 9.5" converter with custom small hub snout ($30 extra), $380 shipped and arrived in 3 days! My cam is 230@0.05" but I have a well done head (Mike Jeffrey).

I have 2 Midwest converters and am happy with both.

Any reputable converter company will give you a good converter IF you give them good information about your combination.

Avoid GER like a plague. Dynamic has become pretty shaky too.

Oh yeah, GER suhUUUCKs. They may have changed their name, but have yellow/black ads in the big magazines.

Funny thing about GER. I heard of them back in the '70's. Never heard anything good, from then to now. But the are still in bussiness.

I will also give Andre at Edge Racing converters, a big thumbs up. I broke my old converter, and could not find anyone to either repair or replace it during 4th of july holliday week. Called Edge, on Monday, and he had me a new custom converter (3000 stall, small pilot, large spline) at my door on Wed, overnight air. I was able to make the next slantsix race.

FeatherDuster if you decide to go with a PTC be sure to tell them what your specs. are. I doint think you need the converter me Dale or Ron Hamby uses. But They can fix you up with a good piece. BTW all of us have run PTC for three years without a problem. THanks Ron Parker :D
