My MC is leaking again. This time, rather than replace it with another rebuild, I am considering doing the swap to the new aluminum & plastic MC. Questions are: Who do I get the adapter plate from? Which new master cylinder would be good for use with non-power front disc brakes? Car is a 74 Duster. I could also just pony up the xtra cash for a NEW old style MC., but if keeping the car for years comes to reallity, why not up grade? Has anyone done a swap with a non-power system? Would using a MC for power discs be O.K. ? This is what I'm doing now.

Adapter from magnumhp.com.

Go to your parts store and ask for a MC for an 85 Chrysler 5th Ave or Diplomat.

IIRC, the guts of a non PB master are a little larger than a PB master. My 80 Volare came from the factory with manual brakes. The MC looks identical on the outside to Lou's suggestion above.

I seem to recall predicting that this exact thing would happen.

Still got that new master cylinder on my shelf. Y'still sure you don't want it?
