i discovered this while doing leaf spring bushings on my a-100 van and thought they may offer some sort of "middle ground" between handling and ride quality (an early "sensa trac-type" bushing?) maybe they would offer some spring "tunability" for drag racers. i'm not sure who created them, but apparently an engineer of sorts owned this van at one time. it appears the materials used were sections of green garden hose slipped inside old pieces of heater hose.
i know, i know, a lot of you guys are hitting yourselves in the forehead asking aloud "WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?" :roll:
