I have a feeling that hp is grossly exaggerated.

http://car.race-cars.net/calculators/et_calculator.html

What do you think the car weighs? 2700#
200kph converts to 124mph 1 mph = 1.609 kph.

Plug those numbers in and it estimates 401hp to the ground which is far more believable for the ET he is running = 10.64@200kph. This falls in line with both Jefferies prediction and ours. I am not sure what Myers car weighed on the 9.93 run but you can estimate that as well. 2100# and 132mph.

To make 564 top the ground running 124 mph in the 1/4 it would have to weigh close to 3700# and looking at the pictures of the car there is just no way.

Still a impressive little ride no matter what it is making!

Hey Lou what were the weight and mph for Cameron Tilley in the 1/4?

Tom

Cameron's turbo car - best of 11.3@125mph and 32-3300lb race weight. Bicycle tires on the back, so lots of gas feathering down the track.

10.6 in a valiant is pretty awesome.

I cannot understand much of the website to the Valiant over in Sweden or Norway wherever it is...But it looks pretty cool.

the manifold looks pretty easy to duplicate.

I got lost trying to follow the plumbing though Where does the boost enter back into the engine off the turbo?

It is in Finland...
Boost goes forward, into the intercooler, over to the passenger side, and a bit backwards, and over the valvecover, into the plenum thing (the "log" that feeds the carbs)

Here are a few more calculators that are fun to play around with.

Found the weight on his site and it converts to 2745# and ran 124mph in the 1/4. That is pretty impressive.
