ISO 900x was only intended to make the manufacturing process consistent.

When I'm elected king of the world, rule number one will be a 200-year moratorium on new MBA degrees, and immediate nullification of all those granted since 1980.
Well, I know our current fearless leader got his MBA at Harvard.

I also know that the bard demands that first we kill all the lawyers, but I don't think that he to contend with over-educated bean counters. My biggest fear of college is that I will be as educated as them. Even with all my fighting and kicking, I am still going crazy, yet the crazier I become, the more society thinks that I am sane. No, I am not a business major, but it seems like even the art majors in my school are whores.

Let's not go knocking all higher education in general just yet. I'll admit that there are some that are very ignorant. For example, read this editorial in my school paper. But there are still those of us that care and haven't been caught by the make more pay less mentality. My response will be going in the next issue we publish.

Suffice to say, yes, there are a lot of idiots graduating with degrees in many fields, but for the most part, college isn't making them idiots. Most were idiots when they got there. College is just teaching them how to be succesful idiots.

I read the linked article. It is poorly written—this guy is not likely to go on to become a columnist or any other kind of writer—but based on what he's written, it certainly doesn't look as though he's ignorant. The problems he mentions with unions as they exist today are very real. Whether or not they outweigh the good points of today's unions is a matter of opinion.

It is a very grave error to consider someone stupid or ignorant simply because his opinion differs from yours. Very little in this world is 100% right or 100% wrong. Most times, reality is neither black nor white, but grey. It is possible and common for two equally-smart, equally-educated individuals from similar backgrounds to come to radically different conclusions based on the same facts and experiences. And then you throw in different background and different experiences, politics, and a whole bunch of other factors, and you begin to see why there is no "correct" answer to the question of whether unions as they exist today are altogether good or bad.
