what about this one?

I know it's evil comp cams again but how about its properties

would it make a good street car cam with the super six set up?

would like to keep smooth idel and not loose too much gas mileage?

many thanks for all info

As stated earlier in this thread I run this cam in my car with a Super 6. It is fine. ....Not wonderful or even poor.....its just fine. It idles fine and gas mileage is unchanged.

I suggest you reread this thread and do a search on the site.

Comp Cams is not evil.....they are just not wonderful.

My uncle taught automotive repair at a vo-tech school for many years, and during a project he put a clifford cam in a slant. He loved it and highly reccomended that I do the same in mine. That being said, his experience was many years ago (he's now retired), and after I told him of their lousy customer service, he understood my reservations. Also, he did not remember what grind the cam he installed was.

I have a clifford cam in my slant:

http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13881

but, bummer is she hasn't been on the road yet to play with her. I do plan on posting a comparison since I have some videos detailing what I have done from each upgrade. its awhile in the future though.......

by the way, it took 2 months to get my cam from clifford, but mine was a custom grind.
