Anybody have a picture and possibly measurements of the positioning of sway bar tabs for a '64 or similar year Dart?

I'm going to add a bar, but don't want to go with alternative ways of mounting at the LCA's.... Been trying to find some decent donors, but no luck & don't want to pay big$$$ for new ones... would rather fab my own & do the welding when I'm working over the K Frame....

Thanks!

Thanks for the pics! Just what I was looking for.... Should be ordering a sway bar & new torsion bars this week... The parts are starting to pile up, time to get started!

I have a bunch of channel steel that will work perfectly... I'll add gussets to try & match the correct angle. I'll mock everything up when I get the bar here & weld them up when I have the LCAs off to do the rebuild.

Thanks again!

are you keeping drums? or going to the 10.87 or 11.87 moden disk? If going disk, there might be an issue with tab placement with caliper front side mounting. I'm going to do the same drill in Sept on the 64 - - so I'm real interested on how you make out with it! good luck..Mike

How soon are you going to do this? What bar did you order? I'm contemplating what kit to use right now, and I'm thinking I might go with the firmfeel with bolt on tabs, and then weld the bolt on tabs in place. Anyone used this bar?

Thanks!

MJ

I installed the Firm Feel front and rear sway bars on my 63 Dart convertible.

I already had the the lca with the factory tab.
