I was looking on the Jeg's website and I noticed that you can get a standard Holley Jet or a MaxJet, which is CNC machined and supposed to be more precise. They cost the same as a standard Holley jet. I am tempted to use them but they have a hex design intsead of a slot on top, which may present a problem on my Holley 1945 which has the jet packed into a tight spot (those of you who have worked on these things know what I am talking about). Have any of y'all ever used MaxJets and are they really better than a standard Holley jet?

jeb-
i've never used maxjets, but have heard about them. i think they were intended for serious drag racers who have the need for super precise jet changes based on various conditions. but, if i needed jets and these cost the same i would probably go for it. that is if i ever decided to pick thru the trash for a holley.

Send me a PM I'll need your snail mail address, I'll check my 'spares', but i think I can set you up with the needed jets (I know I have a set of 612's from a Holley 600 cfm carb...)
