HI,
i am a new member from Austria (Central Europe) and have a question about the block casting number.
Here the numbers, I found:
2806830 3, 09208: AAWJ W

I found out, that i is an 2nd generation block with 5 freeze plugs.
Can anybody tell me further details of this block?
engine size?

Thanks for your answers

If the block has not had any cleanup passes/cuts to the deck, the engine displacement should be stamped on a pad on the deck surface, on the distributor/oil pump side of the block, directly below the alternator brackets.

-S/6

Well, I se one mistake, on a quick glance. The do not show a casting number for the 198, and list it as a "G" engine family. Not! A 198 is a "RG" just like the 225. Also would need to check the numbers, to see if they show the cast crnk blocks, as being different then the forged crank blocks (they are).

Heres a list I've had bookmarked. It shows your number as a 68-70(also the RG series) Cast and forged block numbers are shown.
