A while back there was a thread regarding possibily getting a group buy in on having someone machine/modify stock exhaust manifolds for turbos did this thread die because of lack of interest?

That's a good question. My problem with that group buy was that it was designed around a mani for the 225 which may or may not have fit onto a 170 with clearance to the pan and starter.

Seems to me this could be addressed in the design of the manifold. See the factory prototype in Hemmings Classic Car magazine, April '06.

gmader was the instigator of the thread. Not sure what happened, and I'm still interested too.

I need to talk to Mike, and see where mine is. Sorry, I have been out of town, so I haven't checked the board in awhile. I will check with him when I get home.

Okay, I talked to Mike. He is still interested in doing some manifolds. He is working on mine, and has come up with a spare for a mopar 2.2 turbo, for anybody that is interested.

So, if you are actually interested, let me know. I posted the info on how to send in the manifolds before, plus costs, etc, and he got zero response, besides me. I feel yanked around, and I am guessing that Mike does as well. So, no play'n, who is actually in?

Thanks,

Greg
