Does anybody know what company(s) sell OEM-like leaf springs?
I've only found through the Summit catalog Multi-leaf springs made by AFCO part#AFC-20231, Chrysler type, but they do not specify if there is one for A-bodys.The 'nominal rate' specified (between 142-194) is something that I do not understand, what does it mean?

Both Just Suspension (www.justsuspension.com) and Performance Suspension Technology (www.p-s-t.com) should be able to help you.
No idea what the "nominal rate" is, maybe someone else can illuminate?

JC Whitney carries stock leaf springs. Both 4 leaf and 5 leaf springs. I just bought a pair of the 5 leaf last month and paid $120 for the pair including shipping.

I second Thropar's suggestion. I bought a set of springs for my 70 Valiant including bolts, shackles, and bushings and I thnk it was $185 including shipping.

Thanks for the suggestions. Went to J C Whitneys site.
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Item ... 5110262164
It stated $59.99 each so 'bmimken' I suppose you got your leafs free of shipping charge.
Didn't yet have the chance to go and look at 'espo'.

Btw off-topic, J C even has a chrome valve cover for slant 6 for $27.99.

Hopefully the shipping charge won't be whopping to Finland.
A friend of mine said it would be best to ship BAX International, not UPS, any comments...?

Yes, and like much of JC Whitney's stuff, it is garbage from China. See this thread and this thread.

Be very, very careful if you decide to order from JC Whitney. They have a very mixed record when it comes to shipping correct parts of satisfactory quality. It's a hassle to return unacceptable leaf springs from Denver to JC Whitney in Chicago. It's quite another thing when you're in Finland. Better to buy from one of the specialty houses (e.g. ESPO) who actually know what they're doing and have the knowledge to reality-check outgoing orders.

I must be going blind...didn't see the leaf springs for sale in 'espo', only leaf spring hangers.

They don't show them on their site because they have all the different types (4-leaf, 5-leaf, 6-leaf, small-bushing, big-bushing, etc.). Contact them directly. Prices are between USD $140 and $190 per pair.

Okay, have to contact them. They are MUCH cheaper than p-s-t who state on their website that a pair of leafsprings cost $450 !!!

Thanks a lot you guys, for helping people like me, with your knowledge of where to find things 'over there'.
