Just wondering if anyone has info on /6 events or clubs/meetings this summer?

The Seattle chapter of ther Slant Six CLub of America folded a couple years ago. But there are lots of slanters around Puget Sound. You should try and organize a meet! There are lots of places it could be held and I bet you could get quite a few people to show up.

Reed remember's when I showed up all hyperpakked (and leaned out the carb enough to burn up the seal on my rear dutra dual).

About the 3rd weekend in July, we have a BBQ at my place after the Roberson's Mopar meet (we actually go for the morning then go have a good time in the shade, with good food and drinks...see Club Schedules for pics).

Didn't happen last year due to my being in a hot Dusty/Dusterless middle eastern locale... the year before we got to Host Doc and his son...even Brett made it down here to Salem from Seattle for a visit (need more coffee).

Yeah! It was pretty cool to see a real hyper-pak on a car running! I still have pictures of the Hyper-Duster somewhere.

If you guys have that BBQ this year let me know. I will try and haul my butt down there in my big ol' van!

Drag races at Bremerton Raceway on Saturday.

We have been going for more than 15 years now. Last year there was a '68 or '69 Barracuda with a 225 turbo.

Might be a place to see some other slants, if people were to come.

Just a thought.

There will be a slant6/inliner races at Redding drag strip on Sat/Sunday on May 13-14. We had many cars from the Oregon/Washington area last year. We got 7 runs on Sat and 9 on Sunday last year. Please mark this on your calendar as there are very few West Coast races which promote both the slant6 and inliner cars. MAY 13-14 AND AGAIN ON AUGUST 26-27.
