Me...I band saw the impeller pocket off of a scrap diecast pump, then "widdle & fiddle" the spacer to enclose the high volume impeller assembly installed in the shorter factory diecast pump housing. A good amount of work to save 6 lbs but hey,... it's 6 lbs! DD |

Melling 66HV Note that there are 3 different impeller sizes out there, the factory's 5/8", the more common cast iron "5 hole' replacement pumps with a 7/8" impeller and the HV with the 1 inch thick impeller. I see lots of "so called" HV pumps on ebag but most of them are the 7/8" units. DD |
