I have always wanted to do a Slant B or E body just to be different. :D

.
A friend of mine has a slant-6 71 Challenger. He originally bought it as a "parts car" for a Challenger R/T SE project, but its too nice to part out so he's just protecting it for now until the other projects are done. I don't know how many times I've thought it would be the height of cool to have a slant-6 powered E-body and use it as a daily driver. Not just because its a really cool car, but as a poke in the eye at all the Overhaulin' types that view every E-body chassis as a candidate for a $100k Hemi clone trailer queen project

:P

Probably didn't ride with me, that seems a bit too much like exercise. Our sponsors are all pretty sporty though. This is our gang.

Say, how deep are those bucket seats now? I'll have to bug you a bit more towards Spring.

I think Thunder Valley is still going.....nothing like going to the top of the mountain to race. Last time I was there we were mudbogging in the snow...hard to tune for.

Cool on Silverton! I live in Burton....just a lil west of Silverton.

At the C-body warehouse of course. No, we made it all from the steel molds. We also have a glass shop sponsor that set us up with lexan.

Sandy, Thunder Mtn is our home track and at 4500 ft it's a challenge for some but we do pretty well. Then we go race at Mission which is at sea level and the car goes nuts. We love the small track mentality, where everyone is willing to help if you brake something.

No, just an eighth and the season is short since they still have snow in May.

My Fopar is a 3400# with my scrawny old butt in it. I weigh less than 150#. It has full upholstery all factory tin/original bumpers front and rear, class C receiver hitch in the rear and after market (Master power) power disk on the front.

Y'er Hired! If I could cut a light like you.... :D

I just spent the whole day welding, cutting, and trimming metal. Nothing like a welding cart that's custom to me. I like it!

The MIG on C25 makes sheet to sheet welds really sweet! My cart top and bottom shelf are 16 Ga.
It's coming together nicely. :D

Subframe connectors, here I come!

CJ
