I considered doing a 1 1/2" BBD at one time. It is was a 383 carb. Mom had one on her 68 Polara hardtop it got 22mpg at 60-65mph.

I do have one of those 360 Holleys out in the shop a friend gave me. A TQ or Qjet does better on a V-8.
