I've been there the past 3 years for all 3 days & have had to cut the wristband off at the end of the weekend. They can get wet & last.

Got my packet Monday. :D

You can cut the wrist band and tape it back together too. I have found that after the first couple hours you don't notice it anymore anyway. :D

Sandy, I can't loop it big enough to get it off, I can barely get it to hook to start with.

We have five slant6 cars coming to Vegas from the Chico area. Seems like we should be able to get five cars from the Southern part of the state also???? Whose coming from the South....Lets make this event and all the others for 2007 bigger than last years. Swingin'Six from Chico.

On the vegas topic, any hotel recommendations? I think I will have to fly in Thursday night with my 3 year old son and then leave on Saturday. I was going to crash on the hotel room floor, but I'm not sure if that's a good plan with the kiddo.

So recommendations would be good, thanks!

MJ

as always rooms are hard to come by if not reserved way in advance. you can try the super 8 near Nellis air force base on Las Vegas Blvd. I haven't been out there since last year and a few more motels have popped up in that area. Try moparsatthestrip.com for more places.

You can also watch Moparts and Moparstyle. Rooms are popping up now from guys who have to cancel.

I stayed at the Super 8 Nellis last year. It was a great time.

Cool will do, thanks guys. I'd have no trouble with crashing a floor, but with the little guy, that might turn into trouble for everyone! He's a good sleeper, but I doubt he'll sleep much after all the excitement of the races! That being said I really want to give him a chance to see it all, since he's already "driven" Doug's race car, it would be sweet to see them in action. Boy's weekend! so I'll keep looking for a way to make it work.

Thanks!

MJ

Hopefully we will get a gang together to go to Jerry's Nugget on Friday night for prime rib. It is a "Do not miss" adventure for sure.

Well I checked flights, and they pricey, so it looks like I may just chance it and drive the 9 hours by myself with the kid.

Anyone in the Bay Area want to carpool there? Just let me know, it would be nice to have someone to switch off with so I can handle the munchkin.

MJ

We will be leaving Thursday afternoon and will drive thru the night, I will pull-over and get some ZZZ, usually around Barstow. You are welcome to caravan with us.

EVERYONE anywhere near this race should go, you will have a good time, trust me.
I have some extra pit passes so we can get your car into the pits. Drop me a PM if you need one.
