Very Nice!

I think I'm gonna have to replace my lexan stuff on the GodsRods Duster II. I'm not sure it can be polished back to usable. Definitely never THAT clear again! You can't even tell it's in there.

This windshield will prolly never be that clear again either...

THe instructions say to never clean it with an amonia based cleaner such as windex.

They make a special plastic window cleaner for lexan. I might have to get a bottle now.

Get something that is used on window tint. Ammonia should not be used on tint. Stores like Ziebart have it.

Greg, some guys use a product called Plexas ( I'm sure I spelled it wrong ) that you get from a motorcycle shop for bike windshields to clean and polish the plexiglass.

Hey While looking over your photos and while it's raining you can pull and gut the steering column. I still see the turn signal lever and the PRND21 also the wiring and shift tube. You may loose a few more ounces,,just don't eat a big mac before going down the track!!

Romeo, Good Eye, I have been Eyeing up the column for enlightenment for a while - Just havent gotten to it yet.

Lots of Heavy Stamped mounting hardware and The Shift tube etc can all come off. I might leave the turn signal stuff in for now. We'll see.

Mark, I did use rivets 'cause That's what I started with and had lying around to use. I know screws are the better route but in the interest of time the rivets won this battle :-(

Here are some pics of the windshield final install:

The A Pilliars look like some sort of aircraft part 'Cause I used so many Rivets so close togther... Oh well It adds to the hodge-podge look of ruster :-)

That steel floor looks out of place now with the aluminum block off panel. I think you need an aluminum floor now. :)

First time race car build mistake.

I still need to get around to following your lead on the front bumper. I have four of them sitting in the bed of the truck waiting to be cut up. :D
